Other people have a great deal to offer me. I can learn a lot from those around me, and sometimes I can teach them something, too.
Regardless of the person or situation I am always confident in my interactions with others.
I am secure in the knowledge that I have the words I need to express myself. When a thought comes to mind, I can articulate it without hesitation. Even if I feel uncertainty about how I am coming across, I rest assured that I am telling my story accurately and coherently. Others understand me when I speak.
Also, I trust that what I have to say is of value. My life experiences and knowledge can benefit not only me, but also others. When I share my thoughts, those around me listen intently. They sense my self-confidence and respond in kind.
When I go into social situations, I carry these certainties with me. My confidence in who I am and how I live my life inspires confidence in others. Because of this, I get to watch others live their highest visions of themselves too.
I can always connect effectively with others, whether parents, friends, or partners. Because of this, my social skills are well-developed; I use them every time I relate to someone.
Today, I am confident in my interactions with others. I know that what I have to offer is valuable to them. And I commit to using my social skills as often as possible to keep them sharp.
Self-Reflection Questions:
1. Recently, what are some things I have been able to give to people I care about, just by interacting with them?
2. What social skills do I frequently show when talking with others?
3. What have I learned lately from interacting with other people?
